Flying with wings. ahaha

WARNING: THIS POST IS PHOTOGRAPH LADEN. BE PREPARE FOR SOME VISUAL GRAPHIC OVERLOAD.

OK shut up

OK for those who aren’t familiar with the whole airline industry or the aviation itself and how it functions, well I’m about to spill the dirty and explicit details. Which is nothing actually haha. In order for a flying licence to be produced, a pilot needs to clear his theory papers which consists of aviation related subjects and pass the medical examination or MEDEX, the  term used in here.

Enough of the information puked out by me, I was waiting like crazy for my student pilot license ( SPL ) to be issued. I wanna fly, and I need to fly in order for me to finish up my license endorsement course. OK enough crap, THE  LICENSE IS FINALLY HERE!!!

THE – WORD – CAN’T – DESCRIBE – FACE – WHEN – MY – LICENSE – HAS – BEEN – OBTAINED – WUHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Wait, let the enthusiasm run down for awhile and reserve some for tomorrow. YA ALLAH, I HAVEN’T FLOWN A TRAINING AIRCRAFT FOR MORE THAN A YEAR!!! MAKE IT A YEAR AND 3 MONTHS THEN TO BE EXACT. I can’t sleep the night before. I supposed to be dreaming that one day I’ll be flirting with the cabin crews and got married on an airplane. Instead I was worried, I was worried so much that I can’t really perform well during the flight, which we call it Sortie. My airmanship is rusty, I used to only fly Diamond aircrafts which are equipped with control stick instead of those control yoke. I was anxious, I was nervous, yet excited all at the same time. As what you’ll think when you’re about to be circumcised. OK SHUT IT.

Managed to catch few hours of sleep, though I was cocooning myself under the comforter  way before everyone go to bed. BLAH BLAH BLAH I’ve arrived at Halim airport, with the help of the magic carpet I borrowed from Alladin. OK that’s soo stupid. I’ve  decided to let my friend to fly first since I had no whatsoever experience flying Cessna planes. My friend was like “ I HATE YOUUUUU” hahaha.

The pre flight briefing with Capt. Dida ( sorry sir your name is soo fancy I just can’t grab it in my mind ). It went well for both of them and I was dazed, like really lost. The checklist is soo different ( the shape of the checklist actually ahahah ), it was really early in the morning ( though the sun is up high in the sky ). A friend puked and few felt dizzy during their sorties few days before, and due to that, I ingested minimum amount of food for breakfast, which leads to post sortie starvation. OK wtv.

Hello and morning my fellow birds! Seriously I thought I was in Vegas or something, There’s just soo much planes around ( noted private jets )

Since I’m not the first one to fly, therefore the responsibility to file the flight plan, was not applicable to me. ahahaha. I was the VVIP of the flight. Initially I guess ahaha.

THE – SOO – GLAD – FACE – COZ – NOT – REQUIRED – TO – DO – THE – PAPERWORK – AND – AT – THE – SAME – TIME – NERVOUS – AS – HELL!!

That’s the baby we’re gonna fly on todayyyy

My father will be soo proud of me

The uber excited face for being the VVIP, riding on the backseat, living life high in the sky, which turned out to be quite a traumatizing experience. Will babble later.

'’ Hoi, what are you doing back there?? "

A lesson in aviation for now, the more stable an aircraft is, the less controllable the aircraft will be. For example an airliner like Airbus A320, the bird is limited to certain maneuvers therefore don’t expect the pilot carry out any acrobatic moves while flying, it’ll result in passengers tossing off from there seats and in flight food will be flying around the cabin. OK the more controllable the aircraft is, the less stable it will be. Training aircraft is made to cater for training purposes and maneuvers that only those aircraft could perform. To conclude the story is that, taking off can be scary for some. It’s not stable. I was holding on to whatever that can be grabbed inside the cabin. I was scared!! ahahaha. OK I’ve overcome it.

Below are some aerial view of Jakarta, breathtaking. I can see all the traffic jams and laughed at all the motorist on the road. Ahahahaha I’m not stuck in a jam like you do.

Finally it’s my turn to fly!!!!!! I hated backseating. It’s not fun and could be scary at times as you’re clueless about the situation of the aircraft. I like to be in control. That’s the word. ahaha. I rather be in control than to be controlled. Enough to describe what kinda person I am. During the morning briefing I told the instructor I never ever flown Cessna aircraft. He was like arghjasduh  hahahaha. He maintained his coolness and guide me well during the flight. I love the aircraft!! It’s stable! You can easily fly it well.

Me again

and me again! ahaha. Wished my friend tapped me on the shoulder and I’ll smile to the camera for the world to see while I’m flying!!

I was handling the approach. Was on approach for touch and go ( means that I’ll land and take off straight after ). Cross wind was crazy, I managed to rock the landing ahahaha yeah ahamdulillah.

After done with my fifth landings, we switched back, and now I’m really the VVIP. ahahaha

Aircraft holding at the holding point on the taxiway

My friend took off. He did notable landings. I’m sooo envious!! In a good way though

My cramped left hand. Ya Allah I can’t even move my fingers for few minutes. But the joy of the ride overcame the whole diva pain situation

I was all messed UP. Yet I was satisfied, and do believe much improvements can be done on the next one

OK I freaked myself out when I looked at this photo ahaha.

More photos, I got nothing much to do than just experimenting with my camera.

Voila, the end of our flight. Departed from Halim airport and landed at Bandara Budiarto in Curug, Tangerang. An aviation base for most of the flying schools in Indonesia.

The captains of ze day ahahaha.

OK PLS EMAIL IF YOUR PARENTS OR JUST A PARENT, ARE OR IS AHAHA INTERESTED TO HAVE ME AS THEIR SON IN LAW OK LAME JOKE.

The cool Capt. Dida ( I guess ) and me to sum up the flight. Again for my parents to see. ahahahaha

Wait a minute, I’m here, in Curug, 20 minutes away by flight from my initial point, and my plane is about to be flown my other cadets. How am I supposed to go back home??

Took a van ride back to Halim, and stuck in the jam for near 2 hours.

OK tired bye!!
